Got few people asking my dev setup. I code ~90% of my time. Use VIM + NerdTree. I work on a laptop with single 14'' screen even at home/office. Single focus helps me to boost productivity. More screens / more space -> more noise -> less work. Brain context switch is expensive.

Wow, But why not upgrade to one bigger screen? Would be way better for ergonomics no? You work alot!
I only use Lenovo X1 carbon laptops with Qubes. I force myself on the same laptop at home/office/travel/everywhere, so my productivity won't change wherever I am. I started doing this 15 years ago. At some point was doing the same but with MacBook air 11'' with Gentoo. LOL

Qubes + x1 carbon is the setup I used to have till last year, now I am using an ipad pro with pretty much the same tools via ssh - yet greater portability. Thanks for the NERDtree hint, I had missed that, looks great so far!pic.twitter.com/neZ5nBEyOs
