Ooof...gold is not hedging very well at the minute. It can drop in a downtrend when people are in panic mode and looking to liquidate everything to raise case. When gold starts to go up against a macro downtrend, the market is likely looking for a bottom. imo

This man gets it. However, I may add that there is one other possibility. OTC gold can actually decouple from the electronic price of gold. Keep an eye on this one.
