That's not a nuance, hidden orders are always treated as taking orders and are always executable against post-only orders. Nothing specific to Bitfinex. They're also always behind visible orders at the same price in priority.
Probably the order type used by most market makers. It ensures you act as a maker all the time.

Sure. My point was that other crypto exchanges offer post-only orders but don't have hidden orders. So I felt important clarify the behaviour. It's definitely normal in finance
