Got many questions lately about DEXes and regulations. I believe that if there is an entity that is earning trading fees then you have to follow same rules of CEXes. No way around.
P2P exchanges are the cyberpunk alternative in my opinion. P2P as in #LightningNetwork P2P

The idea is that each node should act for itself without being part of a bigger share-splitting community.

Essentially every node has to be an "exchange" where you can place bids and asks. Then you the have an arbitrage system that scans all other nodes for an order match. Basically make everybody an exchange. Fuck the AMLKYC str8 from the underground.

Thank you for that explanation :) How does this differ from something like 0x where you can relay the information from multiple streams and then given the user has custody of their funds in a wallet then the order matching can occur after they have submitted their order
