So true. Lots of stablecoin projects out there, none of them have any meaningful volume outside of tether. That said, I do look forward to stable baskets not pegged to or collateralized by fiat.

I used tether alot and like bitfinex, but as long as it is not possible to buy/sell USDT to USD 1:1 in unlimited amounts, tether will slowly die. There is no such problem with USDC for example, you can easily exchange this 1:1.
