Yes. It starts as sidechain and will be moved to mainchain ASAP. The really amazing thing is that we found out EOSIO super easy to develop with and @bitfinex is crafting an agnostic UI framework to build exchange UIs that will might be public mid next year.

We'll start open sourcing contracts first (hopefully before end of the year). The UI framework will come next year, there is still a lot of work of generalisation we need to make
