It’s cute
@chesaboudin is taking credit for a drop in Murders, Rapes and Assaults when he knows the streets of SF were a ghost town for most of 2020 and early 2021, but not taking credit for where the criminals actually went, robbing homes, garages, cars. Can't have it both ways5 replies 5 retweets 107 likes -

ah yes the criminals who used to plan out their murders and rapes are definitely all decided to start stealing cars now that the DA who’s been in office a year has decided to be tougher on violent crime and less tough on people buying drugs

You do understand robbing someone’s house is different from buying drugs on the corner, right? Most of
@chesaboudin supporters seem to think it’s all same level of crime. I promise you, when you hear your window being broken at 3am, it’s not remotely the same thing.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Buying/selling drugs shouldn’t even be a crime, it’s everything else that counts and it feels way up.

Mixed feelings on drug selling/buying. Buying/Selling fentanyl has led to all kinds of deranged & dangerous individuals& OD’ing in SF. Walk down Market or through Tenderloin. Buying/selling of weed or mushrooms who cares?

Dangerous individuals how? If you were chuck Norris, they would probably be relatively less dangerous. Same if this were the wild Wild West and you had a gun. If we allow people to live on the sidewalks, they should be free to OD there as well if they so please.

The city is allowing people to live in hotels and SROs and whatnot, I feel that whatever they do (to themselves) is part of life :/ Robbing stealing and all that, different thing.
