That's false, the DA doesn't get a say in this, the parole board decides to revoke parole all on their own, the parole officer never initiated parole revocation.

The parole board by itself, without the authority of the DA, can revoke parole, they could have sent him back to prison for up to half a year.

I mean, 2 things, that code doesn't say anything about the DA needing to contact the parole board, but the DA did contact the parole board, he states that he referred the case to parole.

So this definitely says that on the parole side of things, these two women could have been saved. But does this absolve Chesa Boudin? He seems to be aware of the broken system, if asked I would have told him the same - “Son, just in case, don’t throw this hot potato over a fence”
