Until the state has managed to demonstrate itself a better custodian, and done some of what you suggest, I don't think it should be entrusted with car thieves. The system is too expensive and the outcomes too poor.

Fair enough. I don’t know what to say to this. I don’t want to use my car to keep the status quo. How do we change this sooner rather than later?

Ed Kempler in the other hand breathes the air that some children in school should, eats the food some homeless should etc. I do not see why he was not executed. I’m utilitarian like that.
