PSA. For anyone beset by Nazi and brownshirt bots: I changed my Twitter address to Germany at the suggestion of a shrewd friend, and they vanished. Germany has stricter hate-speech laws.

What does it say that Twitter bases its Nazi guidelines by country? I understand the Strafgesetzbuch laws, but Twitter can set any guidelines it wants anywhere it wants. Why not clamp down in US on hate speech?

I’ve noticed a lot more German-based Twitters lately. This explains why. (They’re on both sides of the aisle, btw, because “One man’s Nazi...”) Soon we can all say “Ich bin ein Berliner.”

Not sure if sb. brought it to your attention, but in Germany the nummer "88" is linked to the neonazis, since the 8th letter of the ABC is "H" they use it as a code for "Heil Hitler". So
