    I'm not perfect. I just try my best to support anyone at Aira (and those that have left) the best I can. And to not be a dick < turns out, this helps a lot. If I can do that, my small contribution to the culture means that the rest of it is more likely to take care of itself.

    Culture is about what happens when you're not around and the standards that you set when you are. If I had to describe the behaviour and standard that I want Aira to have as a company, it's: "we'll always have your back." So that's the one that I try to demonstrate the most.

    Instead, it supports them if it does happen and works hard to stop it from happening again. Culture isn't about perks, sending gifts, unlimited holidays etc, but they should *support* your culture and not be at odds with it.

    We're a busy agency that hires smart, ambitious people who want to progress. One consequence is that sometimes, they will work too hard and burnout. A good culture doesn't pretend this doesn't happen or say "we're not for everyone".
