I guess it’s all about your perspective. I’d never see someone post a fancy car they have and think “wow they’re so insecure they need to flex for validation” ...because I don’t know anything about them or their story, and I don’t live in negative energy. I don’t assume.

I’m pretty objective. I stay in my lane and just think “Wow, if they have that it’s definitely within my reach too” and go on with my day.

Imo a true flex is being proud and happy for what you have which shouldn’t involve anyone’s approval. Yes, some people’s “flex” has negative energy and intention. But you can’t control what other people do. Learn to take the inspiration that’s meant for you and leave the rest.

It genuinely feels good to watch! How can u not be happy looking at happy people!
-
Exactly!! Even if people got lucky or got something handed to them... okay? Blessings. I don’t get the negativity. We all wanna eat, and someone else’s happiness doesn’t mean I can’t be happy where I am too!

Exactly. Seeing someone else succeed is inspiring and encourages me to keep going with what I’m doing.
