Yoi could the simulation with lower resolution first in marbelous or Blender and then import it to Blender, add subdivisions and the sclupt higher frequency details with this

Impressive! I would see more "physics brushes" in sculpting: 1) GRAVITY applies gravity to the area temporarily treating the mesh as a softbody (i.e. modeling fat in a character) 2)WHEATER, applying effects like erosion to objects like landscape. 3) FRACTURE... SO MANY MORE...
