The blueprint operator is highly customizable. You can disable all fancy features like drawing modes, event processing, snapping, offsets and rendering and use it as a tool to easily create boxes #b3d

It would be extremely neat if this could have an option for aromatically adding a Boolean union and merging the new object.
Or alternatively set the new object as a parent to the one that was used as a surface.

Fantastic stuff. I agree with others, adding boolean modifiers to overlapping objects would be fantastic.

how about holding down ctrl or any other key to subtract shape? :) destructive behaviour.

Fantastic :) This is the one feature I had been missing ever since my switch from Modo, even though I don't do much traditional 3d anymore.

This is basically what Hard Ops is doing? At least at a basic level?

No more sculpting news? What about implementing new retopology tools similar to 3dcoat?

a nice feature could be if you're holding a hotkey, to automatically boolean. If it's possible, automatically boolean union if you extrude from a surface, and Subtract if you go into the object instead of out. Not sure what to do if it crosses multiple objects though.
