Interesting piece. I would argue that if algorithms are instructing humans, they should include the rationale, which should be cross-checked. This isn’t actually hard, and helps avoid failures like ValuJet 592.

This is not new. Every human society since we stopped being hunter-gatherers has been too complex for any one person to understand. Hell, the hunters didn't fully understand how to gather and vice versa.

True but on this scale? Billions upon billions of people/data/product that we have to comprehend in a nanosecond. Maybe in the future we will be able to adapt the same way our ancestors did but in this scale I don’t think it is achievable
