    So the food system needs to change if we’re going to solve the . But what part of it? 🥩It’s how much meat we eat! Beef and lamb have the highest environmental impact – even if the methane they produce doesn’t hang around in the atmosphere.

    As Prof Godfray says “If we cured the greenhouse gas emissions of everything except food but continue business as usual with the food system … those emissions alone are enough to push us over 1.5C of ” – that’s a scary thought.
