    Top tip: Forget the Cotswolds with its crowds, twee shops & traffic. For rolling hills, caves, friendly folk & no tourists, head to the wilder side of Gloucestershire- the Forest of Dean. The is a beautiful base with Michelin star-worthy food – Tudor Farmhouse Hotel Clearwell

    Strong piece here by reporter responding to the appalling and, says Indya, sadly predictable, racism which overshadowed and soured a great Euros tournament. Indya’s fun reports ‘from the pub’ during the Euros were excellent. Essential reading...

    I’m disgusted by the racist abuse that was shared on social media following the England game, but sadly not surprised it happened. Read here for more on my initial reaction👇🏾

    So good to get back in a theatre tonight and laugh till it hurt. It’s been a hard year-&-a-half but what better way to plunge back into the joy of stand-up than with wonderful at ? Cheeky, engaging, sharp & even philosophical. Just brilliant! – Oxford Playhouse

    End of an era as leaves it’s home of 50 years, Newspaper House, for more practical premises. Many legends filled these desks over the years. The 1972 building by Arup Associates is an architectural gem and a classic of the Modern Movement. So long!
