What do you think is the percentage of gatekeeping fanboys that make up the box office of comic book and Star Wars movies? I feel like it’s lower than studios think.
Agreed. But I wonder if it’s more about the influence these folks have over opinions of their friends/followers/etc? If you’re not that opinionated about Star Wars but you’re buddy is, you’re more likely to just stay away if they hate it? Just guessing.

Yeah, I think so. Like, I don’t want to be a fan of anything anymore. I don’t even want to say I love a movie anymore because I could be associated as a fan. They have definitely sucked the fun out of movies, for sure.
