    Then the first two sentences build with their phrasing, and the last sentence concludes with brevity. Like the words of the sentences pilled up until they cracked the flow and made way for a short, impactful end.

    I love the way Hikoki translated this. It's beautiful and striking, both in word choice and flow. The words may be simple, like "crack" and "countdown," but they really convey the intent and feeling of the analogy. In fact, it's the simplicity of it that really sells it.
