Thankful to stand with my courageous brother Voddie Baucham against wokeness. He dropped "Fault Lines" in March; my book "Christianity and Wokeness" is out today. Both are with Salem Books, which took a stand where few Christian outlets would. New book:

& : you rightly decried sexual abuse of women in the gymnastics scandal, so why do you applaud this young man--William Thomas--who now changes naked next to unclothed young women in the women's locker room? This is not "inspiring"; this is dangerous for women!

Think very carefully about this: the culture that has repeatedly decried sexual abuse of women by men is the very same culture that is presently applauding men who walk around stark naked in the same locker room as unclothed women.

What have they done to us, men? Told by feminism to shut up, we comply without a word. We lift not a finger to protect our little girls. We bathe ourselves in porn. We attack strong men who challenge us. We excuse our sins. Where have you gone, men? Will you not fight?

Very serious question for America: if an adult man won’t stand up for his precious daughter when young men enter her bathroom, WHAT WILL HE STAND UP FOR?

The preacher or teacher can only bind the conscience of the people to ONE AUTHORITY: the Bible. That's it. The Word of God, and the Word of God alone, binds the conscience. Lots of other sources can and do inform the conscience and the mind, surely. But Scripture alone BINDS.

So much talk about being "pro-woman" today. You know who's pro-woman? Strong men who calmly say "over my dead body" to those opening up girls' bathrooms and locker rooms to boys. Nothing is more "pro-woman" than actually protecting women--and that's what STRONG GODLY MEN do.

And by the way, men, one further word. If you send your wife to stand up in evil days and speak hard truth that you should be speaking: You're a coward.

Men protect women. Strong men of God ESPECIALLY protect women--like Christ & his bride. Men must rise up in these evil days. Stop letting boys into girls' rooms. Stop letting boys invade female sports. Stop letting boys think they can become girls. Stop being quiet. SPEAK.

America is failing her daughters. Where are the men who will speak against this in love? How on earth is a man being allowed to dominate women's swimming? Why are fathers not calling a halt to this? Fathers: STAND UP FOR YOUR DAUGHTERS.

True wealth is not having all you could want (your appetites are infinite). True wealth is having all you need, and finding contentment there.

What if <hits destabilization button> Romans 1:18-21 reorients apologetics from a “trust me God is real here is the rational argument why” discipline to a very different “you actually KNOW God exists but you deny it and here is the full truth about the biblical God” discipline?

What if <hits destabilization button again> much you’ve heard about Acts 17:16-34 (Areopagus) has *completely* missed the fact that Paul: 1) clearly affirms that all rightly KNOW GOD EXISTS (general revelation) and 2) boldly proclaims biblical truth about the biblical God?

What if <hits destabilization button> much of evangelical apologetics has addressed the wrong problem? What if all sinners know God exists—and so their greatest need is not a proof of God’s existence, but biblical proclamation that challenges their sinful SUPPRESSION of truth?

So many today seem to want a Jesus who only soothes them, who coddles them, who wraps them in a Snuggie at night—they can have him. I’ll take the biblical Jesus who saves us, strengthens us, and sends us out to wage war, take souls from the devil, and push back the darkness.

You can keep the soft man-pleasing words that leave no marks and change no eternal destinies. I'll take the Word and gospel, the divine in-breaking that dents the cosmos and takes men alive.

Biblical preaching is so forceful, so convulsive, so undeniably a demonstration of the Spirit and power, that just one sermon can upend you. You drank milk all your days, one cup of chalk-water after another, and then suddenly, you hear God-exalting exegesis, and it's GAME OVER.

In centuries past, Christians lived under evil regimes that destabilized truth. Many global believers face such circumstances today. Trust is weak; up is down; wrong is right. Look to the horizon, friends. Follow the cloud by day, and the pillar of fire by night. Trust God.
