Update: The bug has been identified and a patch written. More testing is underway before validators are recommended to coordinate a restart. Full bug report and action plan for more thorough and proper end to end testing of chain upgrades to follow in coming days.

Liquidity pools were NOT "completely drained". Devs are fixing the bug, scoping the size of losses (likely in the range of ~$5M), and working on recovery. More info to come. twitter.com/TheJunonaut/st…

We have pulled the safety over liveness trigger on the chain correctly let’s make sure that the people of the chain get some rest. I had super great sleep last night and will be around for another 12 hours today

Every validator has the duty to review the code before they deploy an upgrade, and every validator takes care of their own ci/cd.
