Apparently the new hot take among the "Big Yud" fat-shamy crowd, given that I'm currently at 20% body fat, is that this proves me a fool... because... I previously claimed it was *impossible* for me to ever lose weight! Trivially refuted by a glance at: https://www.lesswrong.com/posts/BD4oExxQguTgpESdm/the-unfinished-mystery-of-the-shangri-la-diet ….

(This post mentions a previous episode of having lost 50 pounds, for reasons I didn't then understand and was unable to later duplicate. A year or two after that post, I did retry Shangri-La with moar oil, and lost 30 pounds with little effort - and then it stopped working.)

Incidentally, if you hear anyone from this crowd using the term "Big Yud" in the future, remember that this shows they can't update on evidence or adapt to politically inconvenient changes; otherwise they'd switch to calling me "Medium Yud".

To everyone saying that they didn't realize "Big Yud" was meant maliciously: I believe you. We're cool. (Yes, I am sure the term originated and originally spread among haters. I watched that happen. But people vary, and I'm happy to hear it didn't sound creepy to *you*.)
