The argument that private prisons & school vouchers are bad because they induce firms to lobby badly applied to ANYTHING the government buys, pays for, or differentially taxes or subsidizes. Do you really conclude that govt should never do such things?

Only some sort of extreme axiomatic libertarians. Most libertarians aren't like that.

Sorry, forgot you were using "never" literally. But it is a fully general argument about the government doing *less* in any domain.

I would expect most users of these arguments mean the lobbying incentives mean the government should do less of these things, and rely on other arguments to get that level down to "none."
