        It's always a fraught issue - particularly in times of drought - when suburbia is so much more appealing than dry bush. Seems some governments are more interested in protecting feral animals (like horses) anyway.

        Most of those motorist kills (roads don't kill) could be avoided. Most occur late at night or early in the morning. Even at dusk roos r settled eating & rarely move unless threatened. Drivers go WAY over speed limit late at night on major roads. Roos have no chance.

        People should get a grip & slow the down, watch where they r going, scan while they drive, focus while they drive, drive defensively not selfishly. Roos have a right to live just like humans. Human-centric attitude is killing the planet not just roos.
