        @orta @mjtsai I'm in two minds. It won't impact existing Cocoa APIs as they're all ObjC, & future Swifty APIs will use fewer classes anyway.

        @radexp @orta @mjtsai currently, yes. But future UIKit might be all protocols with pass-from-above injection, making subclassing irrelevant.

      @orta I hope it’ll show that we should prefer composition to subclassing. It’s a big tradeoff but I’m glad we’re taking a firm stance :)
