Did you know that monaco has an API for syntax highlighting arbitrary source code? So for the new TS playground, I can syntax highlight static TS/JS/DTS triviallypic.twitter.com/wDiJU8CK4n

Pardon my ignorance, but I'm a little confused
Monaco is the VS Code source editor. What's special about it being able to syntax highlight something? -
It’s more that it’s a useful API you might not have thought existed, client side syntax highlighters tend to be expensive libraries - being able to re-use the one in monaco is great
