That law would put convicted fentanyl dealers on notice that if they deal again and someone dies as a result, they could face homicide charges.

Heartbreaking. Flowers, candles and stuffed animals are being left near this tree on San Juan Road in #Sacramento. This is where one adult and two children, ages 3 and 5, were killed in a single car crash last night. 5 other children & another adult were seriously hurt.

#UPDATE: say 9 kids between the ages of 3 and 8 were hurt in the crash. One adult has died. Another adult is injured as well. Police say all of the people hurt are in critical or serious condition. Initial investigation shows all 11 people were in a sedan.
