    If the temperature reaches 100 degrees, you can take TriMet to a cooling center, even if you cannot afford fare. On buses, please tell the operator as you come on board that you’re heading to a cooling center.

  8. We all have a role to play in emergency preparedness. Lives were saved in June by neighbors checking on neighbors, and friends and family making sure vulnerable Oregonians had a place to go to cool down.
