We built our Test Site earlier this year, including 'Orbex LP1' the first launch pad capable of orbital launch to be built in the UK in over 50 years. The empty concrete slab is now a high-tech facility for our pre-launch testing. Look out for a glimpse of Orbex Prime too…
This year we have continued to deliver our capital investment programme by installing 2 new huge CNC machines in Copenhagen & Forres. These extend our machine shop facility which already includes large-scale, high-precision 3D printing, depowdering & CNC capabilities.
This week members of the Orbex intern team attended the SPINtern Showcase event in Leeds, where they networked with other interns and shared updates on projects they have worked on during their placement.
