Furthermore, UTIs can easily be prevented in normal boys via frequent urination, increased fluid consumption, frequent diaper changes, and antibiotic prophylaxis, and if one does get a UTI it is easily treatable via antibiotics, rendering permanent amputation unnecessary.

Many forms of UTI are not caused by bacteria. Antibiotics are therefore wasteful. Using antibiotics on recurring bacterial infections is also a terrible idea. I don’t want to live in a world with superbugs everywhere because you want to waste antibiotics to keep some skin.
