This is something an atheist or agnostic would say. All of this alarmist talk doesn't change the fact that humans are meant to traverse the vastness of space though.🤔

Also, there are religious scientists, engineers, doctors, analysts, etc. To stay that most STEM careerists are atheist/agnostic or are expected to be such is simply a myth. Most of the people that I know working in these fields are devout coreligionists, excelling at work.🤔

How far back atheist and agnostic scientist started to contribute to science? Most likely about 100 to 150 years ago?
Science prior to that was the contribution of religious scientists.
Science and religion aren’t mutually exclusive like it is led to believe.

Duly noted, and I advise you to read about the Islamic golden era and the scientist that contributed a wealth of knowledge spanning across major scientific fields.

Galileo, didn't give up. Though heavily tortured, struck to his astronomical findings. But church scientific community knew the truth too, but due to dogma, didnt come clean. Coppernicus came & buried them all, free thinkers produce the greatest stuff not religions.
