Sometimes you just want to reread an old favourite - but which one? #philipkdick #bookwormpic.twitter.com/msfixwwUpk

It’s one of those books you read, then take your time to figure out what juat happened, and then go on the internet to find people who read it to discuss your thoughts! Tho Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (read it before saw Blade Runner) is forever my fav

I much prefer the book to the film tbh. And it is one of my favourites too. Though I think my fav is The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldrich. I love the conversations you can get into online with other PKD fans. His books bring up so many questions & ideas.

I think film was good, no doubt, but it was different. Only similarities are names. Book shows desperation and emptiness and sadness of situation way more than film ever did. I just literally started on this one! Looking forward this weekend to sit down and read it properly!

Yep the film was good - I liked it a lot - but it's very much a separate entity. There is so much desperation and questioning in the book. And the struggle of empathy & being alone or truly connecting. I love how it makes me question everything.

I think him and Bradbury are two authors Im truly sad we lost as humanity. They raised so many good questions in their books, making people think and question life

I agree and i'm always on the lookout for new sci-fi or fantasy that raise questions like they both did. So if you have recommendations please let me know :)
