For fighting or sparring in HEMA are you only able to use the moves described or is there a freeform allowance and this is just like practice?

I don’t do any sparring yet because of the corona. All classes are online. We’re learning the moves and then, once it’s safe again, will be able to come to the physical classes and actually try it against each other (safely)

Very nice lines you draw there. Proper, even exaggerated posture is important with a heavy weapon (lean top body a bit back ie. neck on same line as hip spine). Advice from 12+y sword experience. Ps. It's not anger, it's focus :) Inspiring!
