How are you finding it so far then? After your post the other day about it I started looking into it myself, it's something I've always been interested in.

Intimidating. I am nervous every time before the lesson, but the classes I'm attending are fantastic and I feel like I fit in. It's a slow progress, I try to make sure that me doing right thing > speed. It is amazing though when you manage to make a whole move :D

How heavy is it also whats it made from?

it's about 1.5-2kg, it's made of special plastic type as it's a training sword. It resembles the real thing in all aspects - length, weight, shape!
