Yeah that's exactly my line of thought - it seems like we can get those features elsewhere and although they're nice, it's nowhere near make or break for utilizing your server to the benefit of your community. Seems like the partner program doesn't mean much as is anyway.
what's upsetting is amount of "you going to get new shiny thing as a Partner!" emails over the last half a year and literally nothing but this happened. Feels like a spit in the face. Especially since many of us just wanted better moderation really :(
Oh I second the better moderation part, the current tools are severely lacking. Overall this move leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
