He does the same when I clip his nails. As long as he can see what I'm doing he's more than happy to me pampered and purrs while you do so. I'm happy he doesn't fight but what a bizarre experience he is :D

Had to buy a grooming clipper since Pumpkin is so fluffy he's been having butt problems. I've never seen a cat being so happy to be groomed. He sat down on my lap and purred watching me buzz his butt fluff off. Is he even a cat at this point?

Can confirm suspicious cat behaviour. Esp as you have suffered no injuries. Hope butt problems are all sorted now though :D My in laws have similar issues with their Maine Coons

Oh the butt problem will be always there, just a matter of us shaving it :D his butt is simply too FLUFFY haha. But since he's enjoying it himself I don't mind doing it! Makes my life easier not having to clean him when things get stuck lol
