This is not easy to post, but I want to because if I could help someone else out in this situation, I’m gonna try. I was roofied one night while at PAX East Boston. I take safety at conventions seriously, did basically everything right, and it still happened. (1/4)

I was surrounded by friends, trusted those I received drinks from, and even had someone looking out for me. I realized I was not feeling okay and asked my friend to get a Lyft. I blacked out on the way to the car, and in the car I went unresponsive. (2/4)

My friends called an ambulance, got me breathing again, and I made it to the hospital. I was out for nearly 7 hours before I awoke and discovered where I was. I was safe and taken care of, but the trauma of not remembering and trusting those around me has screwed with me. (3/4)

I thought I was okay, but I’m still experiencing symptoms and I’ve reached breaking point. I’m going to be taking a break from social media for a bit. Although that scares me (this is my job) I have to find myself again first. I’ll be back. I love y’all.
