Is it bad to use a pose that you found from a random picture on the internet? I always feel like I'm cheating when I just find a pose I like and use it without manipulating it a lot.
Honestly, to me, it is the same. Because if you liked the pose and would need a reference, you’d probably google it anyway? I’m all up for artists using reference and doing better art than having to guess and not use tools given

most of the time, thats how I find them. I have an idea in my head of what I want it to look like and i try to find a picture on google thats of what I want. I just feel bad when it's exactly the correct pose, like someone is going to find the image and call me out for it.

Please don’t! This fear spreading among artists because some dumbasses on twitter/da spread this bs about reference being bad and need of calling artists out is tiring. I honestly dont understand where it came from, and those ppl who say so need to learn some history
