Is it bad to use a pose that you found from a random picture on the internet? I always feel like I'm cheating when I just find a pose I like and use it without manipulating it a lot.

Using a pose as ref is exactly what artists have been doing forever. There is no cheating. It doesn't hurt to share the reference you used but you are not obligated to imo.
This. I spent 5 years in art school and guess what they FORCED us to do? Pose for each other. Get poses from statues, pictures, any reference that would teach you and get you to the end goal. Reference is the key, not cheating like some dumbasses say.

I always feel like theres a difference between reference and just straight up using the pose in a piece. Like this wouldn't be for random doodles and practicing, I use it sometimes for finished work that I share and sell.

Honestly, to me, it is the same. Because if you liked the pose and would need a reference, you’d probably google it anyway? I’m all up for artists using reference and doing better art than having to guess and not use tools given

One of my college assignments we were assigned a particular famous painter and we had to find a painting of theirs to basically copy and do it digitally. Part of which was learning how to create and utilize brushes in PS as well.
