Real talk. Why are people we BAN able to still watch our channels? This has be questioning attending every con I ever attend again. Fucking psychos out there killing little girls for attention Ffs.
While I get why some people want to have this feature, it's also worth keeping in mind that just logging out or going to Incognito tab, or making a new account would undo its job. Same as with IP bans, VPN is free and available for wide use.

A very radical way of stopping this is tying your internet profiles with your gov ID, which will scare a lot of idiots and stop some from committing a crime, but there are also other issues with this method. Unfortunately, there's no answer to any of these problems yet

exactly this. In general I don't get creepers in my chat often but when I do I prefer to time them out rather than an outright ban because ban can me almost immediately circumvented whereas with timeout they may accept just waiting that time and losing interest/cooling down
