With bith of my jobs heavily relying on having internet connection (which has been mentioned to BT on the phone every time) I’ve lost several holiday days waiting for man to come around and tell me I can’t have internet. Not the first time BT trips me over, I’m sure not the last.

Last time we had faulty hub and they wouldnt admit it. Only when we said we’re leaving them (as contract was over) they decided to “gift us” a new one. Worst customer experience ever, they simply do not care.

If you can have virgin I would go with them. We are stuck with BT here but my brother had Virgin and it was quality. That was several years ago but surely it's only got better. I feel for you and hope you get it sorted. BtW BT online teams are usually better than calling.

I've currently been waiting for virgin to install our line since Jan 9th. They have blatantly lied to me on the calls to them and made no effort in the customer service department. They're just as bad as BT.

You wanna email the CEO of BT with your frustrations. I did this when I moved address in Bristol and the same thing almost happened. The following day I had a very nice lady on the phone sorting me out which also included free internet.
