It’s weird how serious it feels to have people you consider pals unfollow you on a dang social media platform. Like, why does it affect me so much? I don’t want it to?

I'm a bit drunk & wouldn't normally talk about this lol, but heck, this resonates with me. People who previously had time for you.. and now suddenly have literally ZERO interest at all, even if you reach out first. You try & shrug it off, but hell, it still hurts. Bastards. :)
I find it more and more on social platforms that moment people got everything from you, they bin you. Like a used condom. Very upsetting as you never know whom will do that next :/

I'm sometimes super insecure about how ppl feel about me on social media. But I'm also often overwhelmed and not getting back to everyone makes me feel bad. But just unfollow & pretend there has never been anything IS hurtful. Y'all are super wonderful

Sometimes ppl are out to use you and that sucks, yep. But it's not always malicious - ppl change, you change, your lives change and you move on from each other. Sure, it hurts when it happens but would it've been better if you never met? Wishing you all more great friends in '19!
