People who have played the black mirror playable ep- is there any remotely positive or optimistic outcome? Because if there isn’t, I’m not gonna play it. I have no interest in being preached at and depressed. The world doesn’t need that hopeless energy.

My husband and I got the "good" ending as our first one last night. While it was an ending with definitive closure, it was quite sad. Finding out that it was the "good" ending left me not wanting to actively seek out the others (for the exact reason you noted.)

P.S. This was our first time ever watching Black Mirror. If this is any indication of the emotional tone of the overall show, it's not a good choice for me.

It is extremely bleak 99% of the time. There's literally one or two episodes that you could consider "happy", so definitely stay away if depressing dystopia is not your thing.

Good to know. Thanks, Frank! I’m bombarded with enough depressing and/or anxiety-inducing things on a daily basis in real life (aren’t we all?). I certainly don’t need it in my entertainment.

I had to stop watching Black Mirror (the series, haven’t done the movie yet) because it was just fucking me up, plain and simple. Some of the episodes made me feel horrible.

I watched one episode and honestly couldn't understand WHY people watch it. It's just plain blegh for me as experience. I'd rather go watch Stranger Things 10000th time in a row to satisfy my supernatural/cool story crave.

Somebody who finally understands! Personally I couldn't get past the ummm..."relations" in the first episode of Black Mirror. Glad to know I'm not missing much.

ha! If it's first episode ever, thats the one I watched, and then that was it for me. Yay for shock content, horribly presented and no thoughtful idea behind. Utterly made just to entertain those who "seen it all" and bored of usual stuff. There's got to be SOME taste, man

I would definitely suggest watching at least one more episode. The first one wasn’t nearly as interesting or thought provoking as the others imo. Felt like it was just a lot of shock value, even though I get what they were going for.

I'll give it another try! Any specific episode you'd suggest seeing, as they are not connected and can be seen in any order?

I haven’t seen them all, but I’d recommend Playtest, White Christmas, or Shut Up and Dance. The first is less “gross” and is almost like a video game so you may dig it! Still creepy af.

Playtest was absolutely one of my faves.
