NHS: 9 to 10 weeks wait. To see a GP, and then a specialist. Private: “see you in five days”!!! My local GP is really bad, so glad I’m fortunate to have private.

Yep, and they’re rude, even caught reception staff basically swearing at or with a patient.
My bf had to wait for a month to be seen by a nurse and then they said he'll be seen by doctor in 3 months 
all while he had horrible problems with his ear that kept him from sleeping or functioning as a human

Wow. At that point they should anticipate max capacity and not accept new patients I'd also switch to a different hospital as that's scary
