Yeah they definitely need to give you a refund on the extra cost of 1 day delivery then. If you paid and they can't perform their service, then you need to be compensated.

Its just sad because the company I buy from is great, but they rely on a very bad delivery service. Its second time this happens after I order from them. I passed my feedback to them too, that this delivery service stops me from buying from them ever again. I hope they listen :(

Ask for your money back or a discount. It’s what I told a courier who does same day delivery and he was like: “I’ll come with it tomorrow” and I was like, “Sure but I expect a large discount on the delivery price.” He was at my doorstep in 25 minutes :D
