I studied modern and contemporary history! It’s got nothing to do with Videogames, but it got me out of my home and into the real world.

I wish I could say the same! Unfortunately my uni experience was horrible, with me learning 90% of the language myself rather than actually getting any knowledge. I did write a paper on translating videogames though, hoping it would become a bigger research as it wasn’t a thing>

In Russia, but instead of that my professor said my work was unneeded. Several other professors wanted to actually pick up my research but were not given permission by my prof, so all of it left a bitter taste of wasting my 5 years there :) Since then I started doing my own >

Every now and then I do think ‘what if’ about the subject I chose and if I had chosen something that actually led to a career! But I’m grateful for the experiences I did have and where it led me to be today.

Thats it tho, right? It’s experience, negative or positive, it shaped you as you are now. It got you to this moment :) part of learning and evolving :)
