Both were open to the public, though the latter had formal votes restricted to some key participants in the OpenChain Project. Here is our story in summary and video:
@linuxfoundation's @openchainproj held a workshop and a Steering Committee meeting adjacent to Open Source Summit Europe on the 23rd of October. These meetings provided (a) an informal space to discuss a wide range of topics and (b) a formal avenue to make decisions.

Workshop tl;dr: (i) Tooling was way up there as a “we need to create a unified narrative" (ii) Case studies and more reference material around practical implantation was a big ask (iii) Targeted material for procurement and sales/marketing would be very useful

Steering Committee tl;dr: (1) OpenChain Spec training requirements - we covered problem statements from the last meeting to: (i) Ensure that we used optimal language to cover training requirements and (ii) We have a conceptual approach that includes non-normative case studies

(2) For the OpenChain Spec organization requirements we reiterated that: (i) We wish to follow the same conceptual approach as ISO9001:2015, using language that expands clarity while remaining consistent with our intent.

Next Steps: The next OpenChain Steering Committee meeting will be held adjacent to the Leadership Summit in mid-March 2019. The next OpenChain Workshop is still pending scheduling. Watch this space.
