Learning about traits from the Rust book while stuck in Bangalore traffic. Who knows if I get enough time at Silk Board junction, I might be able to finish the whole book. 🦀

Snapshots downloaded after 5h 30m. Now executing blocks, currently at block height 5734349 (June 2018).
My machine is able to process almost 1000 MGas/s, which is quite impressive.
324 GB of disk used so far. Erigon consuming slightly more than 100% CPU and 10 GB RAM.

Launched Erigon with history, transaction index, and call traces pruned (via "--prune htc" flag). Not pruning receipts since they are needed by the Consensus Layer.
So far CPU and memory utilisation under 50% and 700 MB respectively. Next update after snapshots are downloaded.

Takeaway from today’s Bangalore meetup – zkrollups with OP_STARK.
Unlocks superior privacy + post-quantum cryptography + fully expressive smart-contracts in Bitcoin. 🔥

That and not only…
A op_STARK would enable post quantum secure signature in Bitcoin and hidden spending conditions in UTXOs twitter.com/ercwl/status/1…

My body is currently hashing at 0.67 SHA-256 hashes per day with pen and pencil. I must hide in a basement in Brooklyn. Am doing the best I can.
Who knows maybe soon I will be executed by Mayor Eric Adams.

Now that $LUNA has lost 99% of its value, it turns out his investment of $25M and getting a tattoo did qualify him as a lunatic.

Not a problem for crypto people - they have run out of cash.

OP_STARK_VERIFY might be superior to Lightning Network from private-key security standpoint if hardware wallets become STARK-aware (w/ ).
Last I checked, firmware already supports STARK curve.

Wait a minute… a zkrollup on Bitcoin… would not just be a way to scale Bitcoin… it could possibly allow fully expressive Bitcoin-native *smart contracts*… without the Bitcoin baselayer having to implement a VM/runtime…
Is this real life? @GuthL blowing my mind right now.

Would be pretty embarrassing for all the finance gurus to admit that the crazy crypto people were right all along.

Pretty wild analysis from @CreditSuisse
Hard to believe it's real. But if so, it predicts:
-End of current monetary order
-New dominance of "outside" over "inside" CB money
-Inflation in the West
-High treasury yields and dollar devaluation
-Bitcoin to benefit, if it survives

Last week, I discovered (and reported) a critical bug (which has been fully patched) in (a "layer 2 scaling solution" for Ethereum) that would have allowed an attacker to print arbitrary quantity of tokens, for which I won a $2,000,042 bounty.

Just got an airdrop of €100 called “l’indemnité inflation” from the French State, to compensate for loss of purchasing power due to high inflation.
I did the most responsible thing I could think of, and stacked 2300 sats. #Bitcoin
