I won't attend another Linux foundation event unless they decide to distribute more of the wealth into the hands of contributors who could actually use it.

Not all Foundations are the same. At the

Does dotnet Foundation qualify for http://chooseafoundation.com/ listing? I.e. 501C that accepts new project communities?

I think so; the foundation is a 501(c)(6), which is the same as the Linux Foundation.
