Hey! I'm going to teach you how to properly service the optical sled in all Playstation systems! This procedure should be standard when refurbishing these systems. Don't get scammed by #DKOldies that sells faux refurbished systems that haven't been serviced. Pass this on!

Sorry that I don't post anything these weeks, I will move to my first house next month, no fiber optic yet, hopefully I can still stream on twitch anyway

Recorded SOR2 Go Straight from PC88FA headphone out. No EQ and compression. -14.5LUFS. If you want the best sounding of SOR, nothing can beat the PC88. 88FAのヘッドフォンアウトがなかなか良い音していたのでベア2 Go Straightを録音してみました。やはり実機が一番良い音です😆🔥

For a long time I used win32 api for my GUI tools because it produced small exe and I could use C. Now I'm on Linux, I want something portable, I tried coding my own GUI using SDL2 for 2 months, but it's so much work. So I tried wxWidgets, and It's awesome, despite being C++ only

For the Kickstarter I'm planning for Alice Sisters, I'm wondering if I focus it on the GBA version only, or I throw in GBA + PS1 + Atari Falcon, your thought ?

I was wondering how I could do #PS1 dev on linux since my old toolchain required the outdated and dos based official Sony PSy-Q sdk, but I just saw that someone ported the official libs to a modern mips-gcc based toolchain, linux friendly, I'm saved !

Very nice view of #Sonic from a developer's perspective, feel the programmers fun.

This is what Classic #Sonic really was all this time. All that fun... All those childhood memories... You were just moving boxes around a screen. #SonicTheHedgehog twitter.com/SonicPhysics/s…

I need to do this for Dreamcast too, and for the PS1 will be a lot trickier since I'm using original sony compiler which is dos based. I know a recent gcc sdk exist (noob sdk) but it's not compatible with the original psy-q sdk.

I'm slowly transposing all my Windows development tool-chains to Linux, easier because most of the assembler/compiler are from the linux world. I just need to rewrite my batch files to nice Makefile and recompile my tools. GBA done, Megadrive done, Atari Falcon done.

Here is the PoC :D By turning up the volume, we can hear the drive hissing. That's the pattern being read.
